Our Story
For more than a decade, The Ellis Companies has been a trusted resource for residential and commercial construction projects throughout Central Virginia, providing services such as excavation, site grading via GPS, underground utilities, value engineering, 3D modeling and more.
Starting in 2015 with the launch of Ellis Construction INC, founders and co-owners Mike and Jill Ellis have ensured through the years that each project is delivered at the highest level of quality and at a competitive price point.
In 2022, the business expanded to become The Ellis Companies. With the addition of Ellis Materials and Hauling the company’s service offering expanded to include supply and delivery of materials like gravel, decorative stone, soil, landscape supplies, as well as hauling and disposal services.
With this expanded full-service offering, The Ellis Companies is proud to provide residential and commercial customers with a “one-stop-shopping” experience for all of their construction, materials, and hauling needs – as well as to provide any single service to customers with smaller projects.
